The carrier is responsible for max 8,33 SDR´s per gross kilogram of damaged or lost goods. In the case of more expensive products we recommend to sign a separate freight insurance agreement.

For example:

If a client sends electronics (mobile phones), with total weight of 50 kg and the value of the goods is 96 000€, then 50kg x 8,33SDR x 1,17 = 487€. Therefore it is reasonable to sign supplementary haulage insurance for the whole range of goods that would cover transportation risks.
